A sad day...
I just found out that Stan Berenstain of the Berenstain Bears has died. He was 82. I am really sad! I grew up on those books and begged my mom for new ones all the time. I even had the plush dolls. I still do! I really feel like I've lost someone. I know that may sound hokey to some people, but I don't care. www.berenstainbears.com

I heard it on NPR yesterday. It was very sad. I had a friend who had almost all of the books and we would just sit and read them one after the other. Sadness.
